Thank you for visiting this website. I am honored to serve as your representative to the Georgia House of Representatives. On November 4, 2008, the great people of the 76th district (Jonesboro, Ellenwood, Morrow, Rex, Lake City, Stockbridge and Fort Gillem) cast votes for the second consecutive election cycle for me to represent you at the state level. I thank you for this opportunity.

2010 Election  
I now ask for your continued support in the 2010 election cycle, by electing me to serve you as the next SENATOR for the 44th District.  I can assure you that your voice will continue to be heard. I am a lifelong resident of the State of Georgia and a fifteen-year resident of Clayton County. I believe in Clayton County and its residents. I am proud to represent one of the finest legislative districts in the great State of Georgia. I believe we can plan for even a better future for this district and Clayton and Henry counties.

I believe with your help our forecast for better counties as it relates to economic development/redevelopment, enhanced quality of life and quality affordable housing is bright. However, we must work together to ensure we have safe schools and neighborhoods for our children and residents. We must work together to improve our state and national educational rankings. Reforming Education will be among my top priorities. We must work together to find a workable balance between our social and economic needs. I believe we can accomplish all of the above with us continuing to build on our established foundation together. I have served my country, state, county and community for over 35 years as a public servant; I am committed and dedicated to promoting and providing Hope and Opportunity for all Georgians. It is my honor to serve you.
